| Am following on this too. my Toyota duet has the same problem....i usually have to pack at an inclined area so that it rolls back... Am afraid of letting the mechanic open it as i have been constantly been advised that chances are that i will end up buying a new one...wish i would find out the problem Keenly following up. |

| A friend of mine had the same issue. Had to get the gearbox replaced. If you know someone who is into grar repair, I guess the composite body of the great might need an overhaul. But this is just a suggestion and I'm not too sure of it. |
