2001 Toyota Noah fuel consumption problems in Tanzania

| Problems: | my car is 1998cc SR40 It consumes 1 liter of petrol in 6km in city and a liter in 9km in highway, I think this is too much whats the problem |

| WE HAVE THE SAME MODEL,YOU DID NOT MENTION IF YOUR NOAH IS DIESEL POWERED OR GASOLINE, NONETHELESS IF YOUR CAR IS GASOLINE POWERED TRY NOT TO OVERUSED YOUR GAS PEDAL OR ACCELERATOR,OFTEN TIMES WE STEP ON OUR GAS PEDAL HARDLY EVEN THOUGH WE REALLY DON NOT NEED IT , THEN TRY HAVING YOUR CAR CHECK AT LEAST TWICE A YEAR, I USUALLY MAKE SURE I HAVE A FULL TANK ,TRY NOT LET YOUR GAS METER REACH HALF, IT WILL HELP , A FULL TANK NORMALLY USES FEWER GAS CONSUMPTION,THEN TRY TO CONTACT YOUR DEALER, IF IT WILL HELP YOU FEEL BETTER MY NOAH SR40G DRIVES 8 to 9 KM. PER LITER REGULAR GAS , BOTH ON CITY AND ROUHGROAD. |

| Hi Iam in Nairobi .I got a 2000 noah 1998 cc Gexurb and it also consumes 6-7km intercity per liter. this is from acuisition which is driving me up the wall currently.It seems its a common issue. |

| I have two of these vehicles (Gas ,not diesel) and they both give me all round just about 6Km/per Litre.I have removed the EGR valve,cleaned and fitted back.I get about 10Km/l after the repair cleanup.I hope this helps Regards |

| avoid buying these cars, they are terrible in fuel consumption, i would rather spend so much money on fuel if im driving a range rover, but for a noah? simply crazy, buy a benz, a range rover, a bmw, an audi instead, seems like they consume just as well as a noah, or less than a noah. |

| I am from Dar es salaam -Tanzania. I have a Toyota Noah, Model AZR60G (Year 2006). But it consumes a lot of fuel (petrol) 6km per liter. What could be a problem?. |
