Name:Patrick
Location:Ireland, Mullingar
Vehicle:Toyota Corolla
Year:1990
Problems:I have 1990 Diesel 2.0 litre Toyota Corolla saloon. After 300,000 km the heater blower motor has failed and my friendly Toyota dealer wants to charge me about 400 (US700) for a new one. i have taken it out several times to tighten up the electric contacts, but it is worn out after over 400,000km (about 250,000 miles), and can't be fixed any more.

I'm a pensioner and can't afford to pay out 400 on a car that is hardly worth that much. Does anyone know of a 1987-2002 Corolla being scrapped, with the owner willing to sell me the heater blower. You can imagine next winter it will be dangerous driving with the windscreen misted up.

Every year the car passes the Irish Government car test (NCT), and it starts every morning and goes where ever I want to go. Utterly reliable.

I am willing to pay a reasonable price for the part (in good working order) along with cost of shipping to Ireland. Preferred payment by credit card.
