| I have a 94 Estima.. it came from Japan but I drive it in Canada right hand drive to deliver mail... none of my mechanics want to even look at it because they say they have never seen it before the lazy bastards! however, I have the same knocking... when the engine is idling it knocks loud, step on gas it goes away, it is very VERY frustrating... can anyone help with this situation?? Or Mr. Sharma if you have resolved it can you let me know how? Thank you very much |

| Hi there I have had the same annoying knocking noise which got louder and louder it was there when I got my car 7 years ago but it got that loud it was annoying and people were commenting when I parked up so did a bit of research online and found out it was probably the sads ( secondary advisory drive shaft ) rubbers so took it in to my trusty garage who checked it and agreed so got the parts from Toyota and had them fitted and I'm pleased to say she's purring like a kitten again I'm well chuffed so I would digest getting the sads checked the difference is amazing!!! |
