1993 Toyota Estima Lucida overheating problems

| Problems: | vehicle is overheating,this first happened while driving up hills. while it is overheating i turn the heater on and it blows cold air (sometimes it blows hot air), i have removed the thermostat but still overheats. since removing the thermostat there has been a slight leak from the housing as i did not seal it as i still need to replace thermostat. i also think the heater may be leaking as the windscreen always fogs up in the mornings or hot days | |

| i have the same prblem with my estima the gear wont shift to 3rd then it starts to overheat,did you have any solution? |

| The Toyota Estima 2.2 TD is notorious for over heating problems usually caused by blocked or clogged cooling system i.e the Radiator. you will have to either have the radiator professionally cleaned or best replace with a new one. failure to that usually results in a cracked cylinder head as a result f over heating. |

| My one also had a bad overheat which resuited tothe cylinder head cracked and now I have to put in another engine to have the vehcle back on the road |
