Problems: | The Toyota Harrier 5SE-FE 1998-(I bought, used, on 2nd Dec 2017) at times fails to switch to gear number four(4). Lags to switch to gear four(4) It can accelerate all the way up to 100 kph or more without switching to gear 4.sometimes when its running, the car also stalls when you press the brakes a little. It shifts from gear four(4) to three(3). This happens when am are going down a slope at a high speed of say 120kph.It is negatively impacting the performance and the fuel efficiency of the vehicle. Check the sensors ,it will be changed and it can now change to 4. About going down hill that’s normal, most cars have that mechanism this days.Dont worry. |
