2006 Toyota Harrier boot button wont open the boot problems

| Problems: | When trying to open the boot the button is not engaging. I can only open the boot from the inside. Thye LCD screen on the stereo comes on and off and when the keys are in the ignition and the door is open the chime sometimes goes and sometimes doesnt. | |
