| Problems: | Experienceing an extended daly in chaning gears, partcularly from 3rd to 4th. The engine sounds under pressure when I accelarate while the car is in 3rd gear. | |

| Its always a gear box issue, get it diagnised and see if yu get some codes from that area. |

| Yes, this could be a gear box issue that may require check up by a qualified mechanic.... However, make sure sure that the gear box oil is the correct one. Secondly... ensure that you have used the right type of spark plugs.... Toyota Harrier requires the special type of plugs.. the obes with a sharp pin and of course 10 times the cost of ordinary plugs. I had a similar problem and resolved it putting the right kind of plugs. Good Luck |
