| Problems: | 4x4 is always ON. Cannot turn OFF. It was difficult to turn ON, but now cannot turn OFF. Can I do it myself? |

| Have the same problem. Items to Check: 4wd switch- Unplug & check with multimeter is the 4WD vacuum operated? at front of transfer case, there are 2 vacuum lines, try reversing them. that should disengage the 4WD operation. there should be another solenoid in the circuit which may cause the vacuum switch to not operate. the computer under the dash may be faulty(in centre under radio) |
