1999 Toyota Nadia idling, switching off and misfiring problems

| General comments: | Seriously need help. | |
| Problems: | The car stopped whilst being driven, the mechanic checked and found the fuel pump and GDi faulty and were replaced with functional ones.The car is able to start, iddle for 3 to 5 minutes then switches off. Sometimes it iddles for some time but no power when pressing the accelerator pedal. |

| I'm in the same predicament experiencing the same, mine its a 1998 model, sometimes it behaves very well but when in traffick its just stops or go off on its own, has it been soughted out now? what did you do? Otherwise I'm plnning just to sell it though it looks very neat. Will appreciate any help in this endevour. |

| Hello guys I have a Toyota Nadia 1999 model. I have experienced the same problems described here. When it failed to idle, I later on discovered that the problem was the throttle control motor that had moved out of position. Have a mechanic to take it out, clean it and realign it with the help of small marks in the unit. You will love your car after that! Remember to put the recommended plugs and proper pump. I have had this car since 2010 and I have done nearly 100 000km with it. |

| Hello guys I have Toyota Nadia,the car stops when you want to accelarate. The check engine is on and the car dont desenvolve. once want acelarate it goes down. Please i nedd help. |
