1998 Toyota Nadia problems with vehicle

| Problems: | The vehicle shuts down especially when in heavy traffic. The pump in the gas tank was changed but did not solve the problem. The latest I have been told by my mechanic is that it was a problem with a computer part. The part has been replaced. Now I am told that to re-progamme the computer I need to have the original key with the micro chip. I do not have the original key and I have been trying for the past six months or so to locate one. Could this be the real problem and how can i locate a key which the mechanic says is the ignition switch? | |
