| Problems: | gear box trasmission problem, i bought this car 8months ago it has a problem with picking up speed when driving, ecspeacialy when up the hill its very slow. i have taken the car to a mechanic four times and has shown a bit of improvement for 4days, only to go back to the same problem. what would be the problem?? | |

| my raum 2001automatic make has been fine.Three months ago i did overhaul engine rebuilt and it run fine.Recently it starts fine but may or may fail to move either in reverse or forward.once on motion it runs on single gear.Hence lack power to go uphill.Sometime on parkin g for a while it becomes difficult to reverse but once pushed abit it moves normally.What is the problem?my mechanic suggest i replace gearbox.Plix help me? |

| What's the mileage?That could be a signal of failing clutch system . Also check the the cable was positioned correctly. If the clutch plates are worn out it would be good to look for a replacement unless you have a specialist in gearbox repair. |
