General comments: | spark plugs covered in oil on mk 4,fist two plugs ,once cleaned up oil and plugs car runs fine,is this rocker cover gasket problem,it looks straight forward to fit,is it though? | |

Hi!from the date I hope you have cured the problem. If you are still having problems I suggest that you remove the cylinder head oil gallery plugs(these are in-line with your spark plugs ) with a hex spanner ( they can be very tight ) and renew the o-rings as they have hardened/cracked and are leaking onto your plugs. I know---took me a while to find the leak too. found them while doing a head gasket change. |
