1989 Toyota Supra 1989 transmission problems

| Problems: | when you could to a stop the transmission will not shift to lower gear. It has been totally rebuilt. Some one stated that there is a computer that tells it to shift to low gear. Sometimes it will shift sometimes it doesnt. If anyone knows how to solve this problem plesase HELP!!!! |

| i had the same problem,and after trying a junkyard tranny,then installing a rebuilt one,and not being pleased with either...i then did the smart thing and converted it to a manual tranny.trust me...its some work...but can be accomplished. |
