Had the same problem with take off delays. For the sake of it tried modifications. Did an engine change to a Toyota 3s 2.5l Rav4 Engine. The problem was still there. Realized later it was of no use having the change at all. So inquired ways of deriving power of the car. Added a turbo charger to the Rav4 3s engine coz it was compatible. With the orignal engine I loved the heavy Windom Engine sound. With the new Mod. Rav4 3s engine plus Turbo charger the sound is just fantabulous. Its like squeezing a little RangeRover into my windom. The take off is powerfull, at the touch of the acclerator pedal the response it just so lovely. Try it at your own risk though. You may try turbo on your original engine. Dont need to have a change. |

I could not easily fit in my timing belt back into its location, its too tight to put it back. The mechanic advice me to check if the timing belt is original toyota windom's. I have no idea at all. I only counted the teeth/ridges on the belt and they are 179 in total. How many ridges/teeth are found on original timing belt of toyota windom? |
