1995 Toyota Windom sluggish acceleration problems

| General comments: | Car responds to throttle control while in neutral or park. The engine is responsive if vehicle is stopped. Once in gear the vehicle bogs down and has little to no desire to move forward. | |
| Problems: | Vehicle is very sluggish to begin acceleration. Vehicle does not have the power that it should. Not sure if it is a transmission or a compression problem. I guess it could even be a problem with the vehicle's computer. How should I diagnose the problem? |
