General comments:could it be my inner joint ?
Problems:grinding noise from in front underneath , like when a velocity joint is bad but its not the joint because i changed them ! also noise only heard on straight

My Sunny is 2005 model automatic transmission and have a similar problem. The mechanic says it's a gearbox problem. They lift up the car and rotate the wheel and observe the problem. The noise doesn't really come from the wheel but in the gearbox.

Let me know if it is the same. I did not change it yet as they don't sell brand new gearbox anymore. They only offered me second hand gearbox which I am hesitant as my gearbox could be better than that.
