I had similar problem with my 2001 fielder S. The probelm perhaps was not the actual pump, but a rubber knob on the tip of the pump. I made one with a piece of 5/8" rubber hose, placed it atop the pump, then forced it in the housing. You know it fits properly when the bottom of the pump housing clips in snugly. It would also help to use a foam injector cleaner which is sprayed directly into the Throttle body, by removing the air intake hose and while spraying you move the throttle. Then you re-assemlbe the hose and start the vehicle. |

You might also check the EFI relay if ants have invaded it! If so, clean it and block all holes with clear silicone. |
