2000 Nissan Serena fault with engine speed acceleration problems in Uganda

| Problems: | When i start the engine the engine speed increases to 2500rpm. The mechanics tried to adjust and they failed. i could drive and the gears are changing normally but all the fuel is consumed, its like 1liter could take only 5km. Help and get a solution for me. | |

| Help me settle my serena 2010 model error . When i drive for 35 to 40 kilometres non stop the fuel starts failing niw i wait for like 10 to 15minutes To continue. mechanic have tried but still i experience same problem for the last 3years. Please help |

| SOLUTION@ SLICK100 AND OTHERS. I Had Nissan Serena C24 of 2000 with similar Problem of Loosing power after Long drive in Highway or climbing hills or during Hot Days.. The Catch is The Transmission Fluid gets high temperature and the pulley bands or chain of CVT Transmission fails to shift hence Car stalls. Solution is to use The large Transmission Cooler to assist the Cooling. Me I bought to Mitsubish pajero Oil coolers, went to mechanics fixed them in front and Add about 1L of Transmission Fluid And the Problem ended. All the best |
