| Problems: | hello there i wonder if you can kindly help me.... I have an imported estima 2001 model. Recently I was on a journey and the oil light started flashing, and then the engine management light came on... I found out at a garage that I had not changed the oil and it had gone thin and lost it's oiliness... if this makes sense! I had a full oil change and my previa was happy again, however the blooming engine management light remained on!!! The oil light went straight out though. I have tried 3 garages, two toyota specialists - and no one can help me put out the light. One said that he could get the 'code' but could not transfer it into a P code (I think thats what he said) to work out why it was on... and also he could not reset it either! I have tried disconnecting the battery but to no avail, and the dam thing just keeps coming back on! She runs beautiful with no oil burning, no water going etc - immisions are fine too. Can you possibly help me work out how I can reset this darn thing as it is driving me potty! My mobile is 07743144050 - many thanks Emma Bending | |
