1990 BMW 525I over heating problems in United States

Problems: | water pump seems to be working,pressure builds up on hoses.hoses swell like their going to bust.i think theres no circulation.car seem to over heat.could something be clogged up? |

Hi Kelvin... I had the same problem on my mine "90/175 mls give or take... what a bummer...anyway if car overheated for a long period or more than once you may need to change or rebuild motor head...thinking about doing the same to mine...well my soloution was to change auxiliary fan switch located on passenger side of radiatior...pls note that bmws'are known for this problem 90 that is...also you must do a detailed maintenance over haul on this car/ ie:timeing belt/Ign system and such and DO NOT put tap water in system use distilled water...well I hope you many happy motoring with your car as is dream to drive... :-)...ps let know if that info helped.... |

my 1990 BMW 525I is over heating. I put a new water pump and took out the tromstat and bypassed heatercoro. and it still is over heating. |
