2003 Mazda MX-6 car starts shaking; lights come and no power problems in United States

| Problems: | Son was driving down the freeway - all the sudden all the problem lights on his car came on. His gas wasn't working nor his breaks, hardly. He barely had enough speed left to get off the freeway - he turned it off and started it again and made it home - but it happened again that night. His engine light is still on but all the other lights turned off. Any idea what would be causing this? | |
