| General comments: | If anyone has good knowledge of tese cars we have had nothing but problems with our engine ands would LOVE to know if theers a current ENGINE out theer that will swap out into this vehicle to make it easier to work on and find part for!!??? THANKS TO ANYONE WHO PEPLYS!!! | |
| Problems: | the car was bought as surplus from japan and PARTS are non-exsistant...Im trying to purchase parts in the states to put on it...Does anyone Know if it has sealed beam healights or "bulbs" and WHAT shock absorber does the rear of the vehicle use? Im sure I can find shock absorbers here that MATE to the rear of that vehicle! Just need a clue ...Im currently in the states and would like to ship those items to our home theer instaed of having to make a trip over there and back to find out what I need!! HELP?? |

| Timing chain went on mine. Mate has repaired it but the new timin chain has jumped a tooth.Waiting for him to have a look.He seems to think it is the same engine as a Nissan Navarro.Don't know if that helps. |

| Good day. I'm from the philippines too. I too have a Nissan Presage 1998 model purchased locally as surplus from Japan. I'm not having much problems with the parts, cause most of it are available locally either as surplus from japan or replacement parts. You can e-mail once your here in the philippines, maybe I can extend some help to you. |
