1990 Volvo 740 made a turn and the engine turn off problems

| Problems: | This is my first time with this problem. I made a left turn with 740 Volvo when the light turn green and when I completed the turn onto US 1 my car turn off (the engine went dead) a guy help me by pulling my car into a store parking area. I talk to a store personnel and he stated that my car may be hot and I should wait about ten minutes and try again. He states that he had this happen to him. 15 minutes pass and I tried the car and it stared. I allowed it to run for awhile and headed for home. I drove for a mile and again it the engine just went dead. This time I call a tow company to take it home. This morning I tried again and it started with no problem but I did not want to try to take it to work. I pass my problem to other today my telling them what happen and they stated that maybe there is water in the gas, maybe one of the fuel strainer is bad or stop up and be both are stopped up. Do you have any ideas so that I can get it to the right mechanic shop? Thank You | |
