| Problems: | benz A160 automatic indicates F when engine started instead of P and when engaged it fails to accelerate. it indicates F regardless of which gear its in and it has little power with no speed. whats wrong with the car and what are the solutions |

| Hi, I recently had the same problem, it was my gearbox, the have to replace the megatronic, and refurbish your gearbox.....very costly |

| I have a gearbox problem with Mercedes 300SE. It takes off nice but when it heats up it stops and refuse to engage in any gear. I replaced the gearbox filter and oil. The oil was very dirty in the oil sump it mud like dirt. I put every thing back and for a while I though every was ok but after I had stopped and started off again the samething happened, it could not engage what could be the problem |

| I have the F showing on my dash and the car is locked in one gear. It has plenty of revs and able to accerate ok. Clicking sounds are coming from the auto transmission system when accerating. Any idea what the cause is? Is the 1st gear drum cracked? |
