1997 Mitsubishi Chariot Grandis engine light on. and gears dont't change problems in Zimbabwe

| General comments: | I have even the Navi Software disc and it loads its functions nicely. | |
| Problems: | The engine signal at the Dashboard does not switch off when i start the Engine. Then when i drive the gears takes too long to change,and at times i have to use the manual transmmission and in the process fuel consumption gets high.However, i took the car to a service centre for Diagonosis and the report says (TV MOTOR) 09. ON THE OTHER HAND , when i remove the battery terminal temporally and replace it,that light switches off and the vehicle performs nicely and as usual. However, when i switches the engine off that light will appear on the screen and the performance automatically fail | |

| tps sensor all day long. nothing to do with injector drive as if that was faulty you wouldnt be driving anywhere! these are notorious on the grandis 4g64 engine for failure and are cheap around 50 bucks nz dollars off ebay. your symptoms explained above fit this fault perfectly |
