General comments:This fault has caused major problems for the dealer and Chery Australia as the car has been with them for 1 week and even though they can replicate the fault on the road they cannot find what is causing the fault. The car is not safe to drive.
What things have gone wrong with the car:I came to a halt and the car would not accelerate or Rev despite putting my foot down on the accelerator. The EPC light did not come on. Turned the car off and then restarted and it appeared fine.

A few days later I slowed down to turn a corner about 30 kph. When i went to accellerate after the corner it would not go past 30kph. The EPC light came on so I stopped, turned the motor off and restarted. It seem to be again. We took it to our nearest dealership some 80KMs away where they looked at it for a day but could find nothing wrong with it. We were advised if it happens again bring it back.
A few days later my wife was accellerating in a 100kph zone but could not get above 80kph. The EPC light came on so she stopped turned it off and on it it seemed ok. Took it back to the dealers who again could not find anything wrong.
2 Days later the dealer was still looking at it but could not replicate the fault. One of the staff took the Chery home with him and the car refused to accelerate away from a set of light. Back to the dealers where they carried out more tests and contacted Chery Australia for assistance. It is now 4 days later and they still cannot find any fault. I'll see what happens next week.
