| General comments: | Its a descent car. Once I replace the fuel pump and filter, it will be a top notch car once again. | |
| What things have gone wrong with the car: | Replaced PCV valve, PCV tubing, emissions tubing, valve cover gasket, and alternator belt. I need to replace the front struts thanks to Wal-Mart's car swallowing potholes which somehow became invisible during the Ohio winter since they hardly plow the parking lot. The transmission has developed a slow leak along the main seal. This car has approximately 96,000 miles. The car is somewhat problematic at times because if you try to start it too quick on a hot day, it wont start. Needless to say, I'll be replacing the fuel filter and fuel pump soon to correct this. The only other issue is that the car has a definite hum between 60 and 65 MPH. However, the engine is in top condition. It doesn't appear to be a transmission issue, so its probably just aerodynamics. | |
