| General comments: | the montero has been with me for years, the reliable 3.0 V6 has served its purpose. the engine has started to smoke a bit then i replaced the valve seals and its good as new again. have run it about 150 thousand miles |
| What things have gone wrong with the car: | the check engine has always been lighting and could not diagnose but the enigne still runs good. maybe just loose wiring in the computer since it has aged already. |
