General comments:Hi
I bought my car from Japan and have been using it for the last 6 years without any problems. This year I realised that my engine was heating up every time the car was not moving while the engine was on. I later found out that the cooling fans were not working. I asked an auto electrican to check it out. While doing so, he did a short cut wiring on the relay switch. This allowed the fans to start working. However when I started the engine and wanted to accelerate the engine, I realised that the engine can't go to the full. It keeps on dropping after it reaches a certain power. I am wondering if the wiring fault at the relay fuse that controls the fan and engine was the cause. What has gone wrong? Will that illegal conection affect the computer box in the car and now my engine power? On my desk board, there is this yellow reading saying "check Engine". How do I fix this problem?
